Full description
Weddell, P. J., 1991, An Archaeological Assessment of land at Market Street, Buckfastleigh, 2-3 (Report - Assessment). SDV297951.
Where the Market Street plot joins the Higher Street Bridge, the houses are set back slightly from the street frontage, which may have been to accommodate a ford here in the medieval period.
