Site visit 12th December 1991. Site of Second World War battery command post for Renney Battery from 1941; originally the officers' watch shelter. Demolished, probably within last decade; part of the north-east wall survives. Adjoined blockhouse to the north; both marked on 1963 1:2500 OS (plan SX4948).

Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2013-2014, South Devon Coast Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV351146.

A rectangular building approximately 9 by 4.5 metres in size is visible as a structure to the east of the battery trackway or road on aerial photographs of 1945. It appears to abut a smaller structure immediately to the north, recorded separately as a First World War date blockhouse. The function of the structure is not apparent from the aerial photographs alone. The structure has now been demolished.
