The Eylesbarrow watershed reave can be traced from Cadworthy Wood to Eylesbarrow, a distance of some 7.5 kilometres, separating the watershed of the River Plym from that of the River Meavy. This part of the reave runs up the south western slope of Eylesbarrow for 340 meters, from stream workings south of Combshead Tor to a gap in the reave. The reave consists of a bank of earth and stone up to 3.0 meters in width and 0.5 meters in height. Other details: SAM: 10742.
Gerrard, S., 1993, Eylesbarrow watershed reave, 133234 (Un-published). SDV346703.
An enclosure lying to the north is linked to the Eylesbarrow Reave by a sinuous 170 meter long, 2.7 meter wide and 0.8 meter high lynchetted rubble boundary bank. A second enclosure containing two stone hut circles is attached to the southern side of the reave.
Ordnance Survey, 2011, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV346129.
