Summary

A disturbed stone hut circle associated with an extensive settlement of huts and enclosures, south of Legis Tor. Some masonry of the double-faced walls remains in situ in places where the internal diameter of the hut between in situ remains is 4.36m. The ruined walls are spread to 2.4m wide. Surveyed in March 2022.

22/02/1993 (SX 5747 6540) Hut circle forming part of an extensive prehistoric. Terraced into the hillslope, and is of the simple plan and double orthostat walling type. Interior measures 4m in diameter and is defined by a 2m wide wall standing up to 0.7m high. A gap in the surrounding wall faces south-south-east, is lined along its west side, is partly blocked and represents an original doorway.
