Toll house near Torrington Station. On Exeter to Torrington road. Porch Other details: Plate 19, Fig 6.

A probably 19th century tollhouse at road junction. NGR given as SS80192.

In the fork of the Frithelstock and Bideford roads one mile west of Great Torrington. A good example with the porch intact and projecting side windows.

Visited 29/9/1995. Viewed from Furzebeam Hill there is a toll house standing at the road junction. This would appear to be the site referred to by Sheldon and the Ordnance Survey.
