Summary

An isolated hut circle located 40m to the east of a large hut settlement on the lower southern slopes of Legis Tor. The hut is in poor condition with poorly defined single orthostat walls partly turf-covered and no identifiable entrance opening. The hut is part of an extensive complex of prehistoric settlement and enclosure spread over the southern slopes of Legis Tor in the Plym valley (MDV3326).

22/02/1993 (SX 5713 6525) Stone hut circle forming part of an extensive prehistoric settlement. Terraced into the hillslope, and of the simple plan, single orthostat and coursed bank walling type. The interior of the structure measures 4.5m in diameter and is defined by a 1.65m wide wall standing up to 0.8m high. This hut is attached to a 1m wide and 0.4m high rubble wall, which leads southward towards hut MPP 130851.

(07/02/2005) Centred SX 5715 6528. Three hut circles and an enclosure on the southern flank of Legis Tor above the right bank of the River Plym (see related records).
SX 5713 6526. A disturbed hut circle 3.3m in internal diameter with walls 2.3m wide and a maximum of 1.0m high. This feature appears to have been reused in the more recent past.
Neither of these features possess an identifiable entrance.
