Site visited on 12th March 1993. Hut circle forming part of a cluster of Neolithic and Bronze Age settlement and ritual features including 5 enclosures, a large number of associated hut circles, 3 stone alignments and at least 22 cairns. This hut circle is located immediately north of an enclosure. It is terraced into the hillslope and is of the simple plan, double orthostat, earthwork and coursed walling type. Interior measures 7.2 metres in diameter and is defined by a 2.7 metres wide wall standing up to 0.8 metres high. A south facing gap in the surrounding wall is lined by slabs on both sides and represents the original doorway.

Free-standing Hut Circle (14) is 8.3 meters in diameter. It is turf covered with a south-east facing entrance.

(09/08/1999) One of three impressive unenclosed hut circles lie to the south-east of enclosures MDV4046 and MDV3443.
SX 5944 6708. Internal diameter from 6.8m to 7.4m, with a well constructed wall 0.8m high and a well-defined entrance on the downhill side.
