Full description
Department of Environment, 1972, Honiton, 1 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV337401.
Dated 06/07/1972. Congregational Church. Circa 1850. Italianate. Red brick with stucco dressings and quoins. Three bays, the centre one set forward with broken pediment over. Central doorway with paired pilaster surround. Arched windows, triple over doorway. Slate roof.

The Congregational Chapel site dates from 1774. The present chapel, set back from the road in its own burial ground, was built in 1836 to replace the earlier Meeting House. Built in red brick with rendered quoins, and a two storey gabled porch added in 1862. Maps.
