The west end of High Street is the commercial heart of the town with some residential accommodation over shops and behind the main frontage. The statutory list regards Numbers 103 to 107 (odd), New Dolphin Hotel, Numbers 111 to 115 (odd), and Numbers 119 to 125 (odd) as a cohesive group. Maps.

111 and 113, High Street. North side. Probably 17th century timber construction, 4 storey, plastered fronts with pediment gable with casement window in each. Four flush frame sash windows at second floor with glazing bars (first floor windows now without glazing bars). Number 111 has a 19th century wood shop front with centre entrance. Number 113 is a modern shop. Date listed: 21st March 1972.
