Numbers 207 to 213 (odd), High Street. Probably 17th or early 18th century, 2 storey, roughcast, some painted, rectangular block, probably formerly with attics. Thatched. Flush frame sash windows except Numbers 209 and 213 with 3-light casements. 2 windows at 1st floor each except Number 213, 1 window. Shop windows Number 207, left, and Number 211 right.

Fisher, J., 1999, East Devon Conservation Area Appraisals: Honiton, 5, 13 (Report - non-specific). SDV346894.

A steep dip to the west of High Street is created by the Gissage Brook. Buildings form tight, mainly two storey, street frontages of modest proportions. A small nucleus of thatched properties suggests the earlier mainly vernacular character that preceded the major conflagrations. The statutory list regards numbers 207-213 as forming a particularly cohesive group. Maps.
