Summary

One of two memorial stones at each end of a peat pass, set up by Philpott's son and brother after his death in 1909. Granite stone markers with bronze plaques replaced the original wooden marker posts to indicate the route of the passes.

One of two memorial stones at each end of a peat pass, set up by Philpott's son and brother after his death in 1909. Granite stone markers with bronze plaques replaced the original wooden marker posts to indicate the route of the passes.
