Immediately downstream from the weir, on the south bank of the River Tavy, are the remains of a stone revetment wall which formed the north side of a slipway. The wall is completely overgrown and has had steps cut into it to provide access to river. The date of this feature is not known. It is shown on the First Edition Ordnance Survey 1:2500 map of 1884. The slipway itself can be identified within the thick undergrowth sloping down to the weir.
