Hut 13 has an unclear shape but the only slight curvature of the west side suggests it was not circular. It measures approximately 4.0 meters in diameter; with walls 0.2 meters high. Two, possibly three edge-set slabs are visible, otherwise only a few partially concealed stones can be seen, forming a vague structure. Probably not excavated in 1894.
Gerrard, S., 1995, 140322 (Site Visit). SDV321021.
Hut circle terraced into the hill slope and of the simple plan and single orthostat walling type. The interior of the circle is 4.0 meters in diameter and is defined by a 0.8 meter wide wall standing up to 0.2 meters high. Probably not excavated by the Dartmoor Exploration Committee, although they did interpret it as a cattle pen. Other details: MPP/140317 11/1/1996.
Ordnance Survey, 2010, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV344030.
