Pattison, P., 1991, A Survey of Grimspound, Manaton Parish, Devon, 6 (Report - Survey). SDV304224.

Hut 22 is circular in shape, measuring 2.5-3.0 meters in diameter; with walls 0.3 meters high. The wall consists of a circle of jumbled stones with true walling visible only on the east side, where there are coursed slabs. A leaning slab may have been an edge-set external facing stone. Three small stones on the west were probably also part of the external facing while two recumbent granite posts on the south margin were probably originally erect and may have served as jambs. Not examined in 1894.

Gerrard, S., 1995, 140322 (Site Visit). SDV321021.

Hut circle of the simple plan and single orthostat walling type. Interior is 3.0 meters in diameter and defined by a 1.2 meter wide wall standing up to 0.3 meters high. Large quantities of rubble lie within the interior and two recumbent granite posts amongst this material may represent original door jambs. Not excavated by the Dartmoor Exploration Committee. Other details: MPP/140311 11/1/1996.
