A ring ditch of probable later prehistoric date is visible on aerial photographs of 1992 as a cropmark between 3 and 5 metres wide, enclosing an area approximately 20 metres in diameter. The cropmark is visible on the saddle of a spur to the south of Mowlish Farm.

Cropmarks of a ring ditch and levelled mound are visible on aerial photographs of 1980 and 1992, to the south of Mowlish Farm, Starcross. The pale cropmark of the levelled mound is roughly oval in shape and measures approximately 19 by 21 metres in size. The cropmarks are probably evidence of a levelled round barrow of Bronze Age date.
