Summary
The hedgebank to sw of proposed tennis court,/which abuts nw angle of the walled garden is earmarked for removal. Shown on tm, and was originally continuous with n boundary of garden. The bank curves around to sw towards farmhouse; at this point it is very wide. The tm suggests it formed an enclosure around the farmhouse and as the w side is continuous with the w end of the building (ie the church) it may have formed part of the medieval plan.(weddell).
