Full description
Haswell, B. W., 1976, Bone (Worksheet). SDV358644.
In barrow No.24 of the ancient burial ground at Westward Ho! Hajor Haswell found 13 bones and 3 teeth. The teeth are from a domestic ox; two bones are of Bos Primigenius; the rest are of the domestic ox, pig or sheep. One bone is partly petrified. Also found was a piece of wax-like material, which appeared to have been set in a mould, with the marks of the mould on the under surface.
