Department of Environment, 1989, Clovelly, 37 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV4533.

Principal driveway entrance to Clovelly Court.
Eighteenth century, rebuilt 1890 by Christine Hamlyn reusing 18th century materials, gates imported from Nuremburg. Brick and freestone. Tall principal piers, square on plan with cornices and domed caps with ball finials. Smaller secondary outer piers in similar style, these connected by short sections of wall, small secondary pedestrian gates. Large paired central iron gates with cresting on central monogram, small similar pedestrian gates. Other details: LBS number 91156.
