Full description

Department of Environment, 1989, Clovelly, 43 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV4533.

144 Higher Slerra.
House, part of a row. Probably early 19th century. Rendered and whitewashed on a rubble core, slate roof in 2 sections, to right gabled, to left of lower height with a hipped end. Axial and gable end stacks, rendered.
Plan: main part with central entrance hall with a small room to each side heated by an end axial stack, addition to left appears to be a single large room.
Exterior: 2 storeys, 2:2 windows; single storey addition on the left, main part of 2 storeys. Main part to right of 2 windows, small 2-light 19th century 12-pane casements, section to left with similar but larger casements. Door opening to centre of right 2 bays, plank door, projecting lean-to porch with a slate roof.
