The old smithy and out building. Dated 1870.2 storey stone rubble house with dressed stone quoins. Narrow centre break with low pitch gable. Slate roof with flat eaves. No central 1st floor window, flanking bays have recessed glazing bar sashes in rusticated surrounds, cambered lintels with keystones. Door to centre deep set with keystoned lintel to cambered arch opening. Adjoining to east is an l-plan stone rubble outbuilding which was formerly the smithy itself. Slate roof with louvred ventilator (doe).
