Full description
Turton, S. D., 1992, Archaeological Assessment of SWW Teign Estuary Regional Sewage Disposal Scheme, 3 (Report - Assessment). SDV291843.
A 1727 map (DRO 1508M/M1) shows "Seamills", implying the former presence of a tidemill here. The field name "Sea Mulls" survived until the mid 19th century, although no suitable buildings are indicated on the tithe map.

No archaeological features were observed during the pipeline construction. The mill was probably destroyed by the railway.
