Vis=14/11/1994 (horner) remainder of site appears to have been demolished by developers. According to mrs smart of "owl house" the blossom hill group of buildings was where the airfield anglican and catholic chaplaincies were and the camp canteen (horner).

Vis=11/04/1994 (horner) a number of airfield buildings are recorded on the os 1:2500 (1963) map. Of these only the western group was still extant when visited and subject to an application for demolition. Unclear as to the original function of these buildings but at least one was for vehicles (slides).

Dunkeswell airfield dispersed site 3 (communal). Many buildings have been demolished, including gymnasium, squash court, latrines, dining room, combined tailors', shoemakers' and barbers' shop, etc. Full list in appendix 2. See subsheet for surviving buildings at spring 1995 (francis).
