Simpson, S.J et al, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV111961.

This may be the line of the, possibly roman, road from which the lost medieval settlement of cheeseway took its name. However, the placename cheeseway ash may indicate that this road lay on the high ground (simpson et al).
