Full description
Francis, P., 1995, Blackdown Hills Airfield Survey. Dunkeswell and Upottery, No. 21, Fig. 22 (Report - Survey). SDV312951.
Building 66. 25 yard machine gun range. Construction: building in two parts consisting of 4.5 inch brick shelter forming one part and at 25 yards, a shooting-in butts making the other. This part consists of a 9 inch brick wall supported at the rear by brick buttresses with sand bank facing the shelter. Internal inspection was not possible due to undergrowth but an external inspection revealed the building to be in very poor condition. Currently occupied by a family of muntjac deer.
