(September 1992) SX 5959 6258 Cairn on south-west slope of Penn Beacon, 130m south-west of Cholwich Town contour reave and 100m north-east of SX56SE/126. Diameter 4m, 0.6m high and has a retaining kerb.

Penn Beacon S. W. cairn '6' at SX59626255 of 3.0 metres diameter by 0.4 metres high is a fair sized undisturbed mound surrounded by a ring of stones.

This cairn lies on the south-west slope of Penn Beacon some 130 metres south-west of Cholwich Town contour reave, in the vicinity of several other cairns and some 100 metres north-east of a large cairn and stone alignment. It is 4 metres in diameter and 0.6 metres in height and has a retaining kerb.
