Exeter Museums Archaeological Field Unit, 1992 - 1993, Blackdown Hills Survey Archive (Archive - Survey). SDV324187.
"hitchcocks cottage" in 1890 (os). Vis=14/9/1992 (reed + stead) building in a ruinous state with mortared walls to a height of 1m. Two ground floor rooms can be identified in rubble. One 5m by 7.5m, the other 15m by 5m. Ruin aligned roughly n-s axis with overall dimension of 20m by 15m.
