Larn, R., 1974, Devon Shipwrecks, 103 (Monograph). SDV741.

A stained glass window in the south transept at St Michael and All Saints parish church at Stokenham is a memorial to the 38 who died when the Barque 'Spirit of the Ocean' was lost off Prawle in 1866.
