Summary

Bridge described as clapper bridge between Shallowford East and West. Shallow bridge over what is now a marshy and virtually still-water streamlet. Parapet walls of small random coursed granite fragments with small flat granite coping stones and sloping end copings. One of three bridges on this stretch of road; this is the most easterly bridge.
