Well built and mortared throughout. Abutments of small to medium granite and slate fragments, coursed, fairly well-faced and mortared. No evidence of feather and tare but too deep to inspect underside. Outer lintels very long and poorly faced. Parapet walls of random coursed granite and slate with dogs tooth coping.

(16/10/1992) Bridge described as clapper bridge at SX 777 737.

Hooks Bridge (north), single span. Mortared and very well faced.19th century or later. At least 2 lintels replaced with concrete.
