Full description

Possible hut circle at North End settlement site. Located to west of track. A small indistinct heather-covered mound. Other details: 101,026.

One of a group of carins at the north end of Lundy, all within a scheduled area. There are several large stones in a heap to the south-east side of the cairn. The centre is concave and hearth-covered with some exposed stone. The cairn may have been quarried for stone for John O'Groats Cottage resulting in the previus assumption that this was a hut circle. Diameter circa 4.5 mtres. Depth of pit from top of mound circa 0.5 metres.
