Full description
LANGHAM, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV108.
Site of quay and jetty. Wooden jetty built for the loading of quarried granite to the lundy granite co. 's own steamboat, "the vanderbyl" for transport to fremington quay (nt). Vis=-/-/1988 (nt). Vis=no trace of the quay although it was visible in early 1960's (nt). Vis=horizontal tramway ran from foot of incline to a granite quay. Keyed stones mark the outline of the wooden jetty. Rusting rail on beach and large granite rock with two cleats for pile base (langham).
