Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX57SE19 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV219145.

Hut circle C measures 7.0 meters in diameter, 0.5 meters in height. One of a group of thirty eight huts and three enclosures. This hut circle is in good condition and is composed of large boulders; the entrance is to the south-east.

Hut circle within large, partially enclosed settlement. The hut circle is terraced into hill slope and has a simple plan and double orthostat walling. The interior of the hut is oval, 7.4 meters by 5.8 meters and the wall is 1.6 meters wide, standing to a height of 0.7 meters.

Hut circle number 4 (SX55597510). Measures 6.3 meters in diameter internally and walls survive to a height of 0.4 meters and width of 1.6 meters. Other details: 12 (Fig 4).
