Vis=11/9/1992 (simpson and noble) a one-storey barn is still standing in the position shown. On os 1:10,000 (1991), built out of local chert with a slate roof, double door at n end, three shuttered windows and door on w side, e side built into a terrace. The foundations of another building to the s of the above are visible but overgrown, this is also terraced into the hillslope to the east. Present landowner believes it to have been a blacksmiths shop. Leat leading to luppitt mill is visible running along e boundary of the field.
