Exeter Museums Archaeological Field Unit, 1992 - 1993, Blackdown Hills Survey Archive (Archive - Survey). SDV324187.

Vis=8/9/1992 (simpson and noble) square pond called the rookery shown on os 1:10,000 (1991) map also shown on os 6" (1890). The present landowners say it used to be a fishpond for mohuns ottery. The area is now enclosed and difficult to get into, heavily overgrown with trees etc but the pond is still there surrounded by a raised bank, some spoil heaps are evident to the ne of the pond.
