A field of permanent pasture. No above ground features. Not ploughed in recent years. Other details: Archive.

In the light of the Blackdown Hills Ironworking Survey this name could indicate a smelting site. Tap and furnace slag have been found nearby, incorporated into porch at Mountstephens Cottage.
