A large farm and cottages shown on the tithe map, (numbers 101-105). In the tithe apportionment they are listed as 102, wolston castle cottages and garden, 104 ford house, outbuildings and garden (tm/ta).
Exeter Museums Archaeological Field Unit, 1992 - 1993, Blackdown Hills Survey Archive (Archive - Survey). SDV324187.
Vis=25/08/1992 and 07/09/1992 (simpson and noble). No standing buildings are visible but there are earthworks; a possible platform to the se of collyhayes, there are possibly two other levelled areas. The field boundaries shown on the tm have been removed. This is part of the contracted settlement of wolverstone.
