Summary
Two buildings within a small enclosed plot are depicted on the Tithe Map for Awliscombe west of west of Birds Farm, Wolverstone, Awliscombe parish. The structures and enclosure earthwork had been removed by 1947 although earthwork remains were visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured from 1998 to 2014.

Vis=25/08/1992 (simpson and noble). The building marked on the map may have been the last standing in this field and is only visible now as earthworks. Earthworks indicate the possible location of at least one other building, boundaries, trackways and a possible well. The building marked on the tithe map appears to have been a two-roomed cottage in ground plan. See sketch in archive. The farmer knew of no buildings on the site.
