Vis=26/08/1992 (simpson and noble). There is no sign of the site of the cottage surviving above ground. The farmers father reported that he had been told that the cottage used to be lived in by a keeper whom squire newman caught catching a pheasant, he dismissed the keeper and demolished the cottage. The area is now used for woodland and rough pasture.
