Summary

Hut circle 'B' of 6.2 metres diameter with walls 1.0 metre wide by up to 0.5 metre high within settlement east of Nodden Gate. A small post-medieval stone quarry pit cuts the north-western wall of this hut.

Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1974, SX58NW15 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV236238.

Hut circle B. Diameter measures 6.0 metres, wall 1.5 metres wide, 0.4 metres high. One of 11 hut circles. Remains of double walled type hut. Only the eastern side of this hut remains. Condition ruinous.

Hut circle within a settlement. Terraced into the hillslope and of the simple plan and single orthostat walling type. Interior measures 6.2 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.0 metre wide wall standing up to 0.5 metres high. A small post-medieval stone quarry pit cuts the north-western wall of this hut.
