Vis=27/08/1992 (simpson and noble). The only field visited was that called 'long ditch' in the tithe apportionment book (number 737). The modern name is also long ditch, no earthworks were visible except for a sharp change in the slope of the field approximately 20m from the present nw boundary of the field. This could represent a former field division.
