Vis=09/09/1992 (simpson and noble). The site of the cottage is clear from a terrace cut into the hillslope. A lane running w off the main lane through wick, to the s of the site of this cottage is now overgrown. See sketch in archive.

The site of Haskins cottage, shown on the Tithe Map for Luppitt, was visible on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards. The site is visible as a rectilinear earthwork terrace or platform approximately 15 by 7 metres in size. The levelled area also extends southwards for a further 8 metres towards a former lane, not visible on the aerial photographs available to the survey due to dense vegetation.
