Summary

Sourton tor, 732m to the east of the western most rocks of sourton tors, a few metres south of the track which at that point forms the boundary of bridestowe parish, on the open moor lies half of a two piece poundstone, from the margin of which a fairly large piece has been broken. To the west can be found the spot where the stone was worked. Abandoned because of injury received in transport. The effective depth of the annular trough is 178mm, the rim intended to be heightened with wood, as was not unusual.
