Summary
A Miners' dry at Golden Dagger Mine. An archaeological field survey in 2002 located the building situated in a level area beside the track on the west side of the Redwater valley floor within Soussons Plantation. The building is rectangular on plan measuring approximately 18 metres by 4 metres and has three cells, each with an entrance on the southeast wall. It was constructed sometime between 1885 and 1904.

Site '1' at Golden Dagger Tin Mine is a long narrow building divided into three rooms. This was the miners' 'dry'. Behind the building is a low roofed tunnel driven into one side of the gully leading to the adit level.

(25/07/2002) The Miners' Dry at Golden Dagger Mine. Sited in a level area beside the track on the west side of the Redwater valley floor within Soussons Plantation. The ruined rectangular building measures approximately 18m by 4m and has three cells, each with an entrance on the south-east long wall. Built sometime between 1885 and 1904 the building served mainly as a Miners' Dry though is likely to have served other purposes.
