(17/07/1992) Shieling in Standon Down settlement. SX55028241 Shieling lying immediately south of hut circle settlement. Rectangular one roomed structure with coursed stone walls. Internal measurements 6m by 4.5m. Walls 1.3m wide, 0.6m high. It is possible that an underlying hut circle was robbed to erect this building.
