Shaft, Upcott Mine. Site marked by a depression set between the mounds of 2 spoil heaps in SW corner of field. Dewey noted that it was said to be 27 fathoms deep, with a winze a further 10 fathoms deep. The farmer states that the shaft was capped wth pine logs in 1912.
