Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880s, Ordnance Survey, OS 25" (Cartographic). SDV848.
Site of a reservoir 46m x 12m shown on OS 25" (1880s) map along the north side of the road to the west of 'Upcott Mine' with a 'Sluice' on the west side.
Dixon, D., 1983, Untitled Source, 280 (Monograph). SDV322502.
Reservoir 110' by 20'. Controlled by a sluice and fed by stream from adit (see PRN 46832). Farmer states that this was once used to power a waterwheel in the farm buildings at Upcott farm. The wheel was removed during WWII.
