Milestone marked on 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map. The mileage to Totnes and Plymouth is not recorded.

Site visit 30th June 2004. Granite milestone on the south side of the road circa 30 metres to the east of Steer Point Road. Dated circa 1759. The stone is inscribed '?/To/Plym/17/To/Totnes'. The legend had been painted over in white. Ordnance Survey benchmark on left hand face. Stone partly sunken.
