'Petoe Quarry' shown on 19th century map as a large irregular shaped feature on the east side of the road with two limekilns within it.

Remains of Petoe Quarry and kiln within the northern part of the field. The quarry was approximately 15 metres deep with dense vegeatation and tree cover.
