Vis=30/09/1992 (simpson and noble). The ruins of this cottage stand to a maximum of about 4m high. The gable end and chimney stack at e end stand almost to former roof height. Most of the walls stand to 1m-1.5m high. Built with local chert and bonded with a lime based mortar, some repointing. The ruins are now heavily overgrown.
