Summary

There were formerly two 13th century carved label stops, in the form of heads and moulding, re-used either side of the fireplace in beckford cottage. Discarded into brook following recent renovation. One is now in the possession of a local resident, the other was not found. Not known where they originally came from.(emafu).

There were formerly two 13th century carved label stops, in the form of heads and moulding, re-used either side of the fireplace in beckford cottage. Discarded into brook following recent renovation.
